🇬🇧 Our Ladies played in Steinsel on Saturday, determined to bounce back from Wednesday’s disappointing cup defeat and bring a win back home.
The game started with both teams trading leads, although our women managed to stay ahead for most of the first quarter, finishing it with a narrow 1-point advantage.
Steinsel came out stronger at the start of the second quarter, but our women responded quickly and regained the lead before halftime.
After the break, Steinsel once again got off to the better start and led for most of the third quarter. However, our women fought back and managed to regain the lead in the closing seconds of the period.
From that moment on, we never looked back!
Our women held on to their advantage throughout the final quarter, securing a well-deserved 72–66 win and getting their revenge for Wednesday’s cup defeat!
Our top scorers were Ella with 25 points, Myrielle with 16, Lesley with 11, and Magaly with 9 points.
Congratulations to the team on this important win and a great fighting spirit.
