🇬🇧Our men travelled to Steinsel on Saturday, with Tom making his long-awaited comeback after suffering an injury during preseason! We led for most of the first quarter but were never able to build a comfortable advantage.
From the second quarter onwards, Steinsel took control of the game and gradually extended their lead to more than 10 points. By the end of the third quarter, we were trailing by 9. Our men refused to give up and kept fighting throughout the final quarter. However, it wasn't until the closing minute that we managed to close the gap and put ourselves back in contention.
In the final seconds, Julian had the chance to win the game for us, but unfortunately, his shot didn't fall.
In the end, we suffered a heartbreaking 77–76 defeat in Steinsel.
Our top scorers were Julian with 27 points, Kyle with 21, and Sam with 14 points.
Despite the tough loss, the team showed great fighting spirit until the very end.
A big thank you to everyone who made the trip to Steinsel to support our men.
